Anime sheet music is becoming hugely popular as more and more people discover Japanese animation.

Composers of music for both films and TV series have dedicated fans, and you'll find websites and blogs devoted to them!

If anime sheet music is what you're looking for, I've done the searching for you. Whether you want printed, high-quality sheet music books, or free downloads, you'll find the best sources here.

Bleach - Ichigo

OK. I admit it. I like anime! But it's my husband who's the real japanese animation fan. So I've heard a lot of this music, and it's great.

If you want the "real thing," -- the official versions of the songs from your favorite anime, you'll find an excellent selection at GameMusic.com.

As the name implies, GameMusic's major focus is video game music, but they've got quite a selection of anime music as well.

One of our favorites is Princess Mononoke. GameMusic lets you see the index (all the included songs) and also read customer reviews!

There's some great stuff like Neon Genesis Evangelion and Sprited Away.

Want to play some anime piano music right away? Here are some great sites for piano sheet music online to get you started on your music collection.

Anime Scores has all the music listed alphabetically by anime series, so you can find what you're looking for quickly and easily.

There is a great collection of music at Anime Scores. All the music is in PDF format, which makes it easy to download and print. Spend a couple hours downloading, and you'll have a great collection of music just from this site alone!

Anime Scores also has guitar tabs, if you happen to play guitar.

Josh also lists his music alphabetically by series title. You'll find PDF sheet music files as well as midis (sound files). Some titles also have text files of lyrics.

I find the dark background and the typewriter-style text a bit hard to see and navigate, but there's just a lot of music here, and it's worth visiting.

Ichigo's Sheet Music has a collection of nearly 400 video game and anime sheets.

You can choose from PDF files, MUS files (for Finale), and GIF files. Most of the music also has a midi file, for your listening pleasure.

Ichigo's is also a great place to interact with other music fans. There's contests, forums, and chats.
